Coach Barry Daniel
Head Football Coach & Athletic Director
History Teacher
Barry Daniel is the leader of the Colts' football program. He is also the athletic director at the school. He has led the Colts to the playoffs in two of his three seasons as the head coach. At Clements he has a 16-16 overall record. During his coaching career Coach Daniel has worked at two other schools than Clements. For ten years he was an assistant coach at state 5A power Russellville before coming to CHS in 2005. He helped the Golden Tigers reach the Super 6 state championship in 2002, 2003, and 2004. One season he was the head coach at Cherokee High School in western Colbert County.
During his time at the school there have been many improvements to the football program. The weight room has been reconstructed to consist of 8 power racks, three power clean stations, three glute ham machines and a dumbell rack area. The locker room has been totally rebuilt with new lockers and a coaches office has been added to the football facility. The field house also houses the training room for the entire Colts athletic programs. The school is proudly covered by Encore. In addition to the renovations in the field house and weight room a practice facility has been built for the team.
Coach Daniel has been married to his wife Niki for 14 years. They have two boys Carson, 7 and Carter, 3. Carson is a first grader in Mrs. Bridges class and Carter attends Mars Hill Preschool in Florence. They are all very happy to be Colts!!!!!
Jason Black
Assistant Football Coach
History Teacher
Coach Jason Black is in his fifth year at Clements High School. His on the field duties include special teams coordinator and the defensive line. Coach Black will be on the field on game day. Previous stops in his coaching career are at Hazel Green High School and Riverton Middle School. He was also special assistant to Tiger Football while attending Auburn University.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Auburn University and his master's from Alabama A&M University. He is a native of the Clements community and graduated from Clements in 1987. Jason and his wife Velvet, have two children, Jasey and Allie Ruth.
Bart Nave

Physical Education Teacher
Coach Bart Nave is in his fifth year at Clements High School. His on the field duties will be the wide receivers and linebackers. He will be in the press box on game day. Previous stops in his coaching career include Hazel Green High School and East Limestone High School.
He is a graduate of Athens State University. Bart is married to Kelly.
Coach Michael Brown

Science and Physical Education Teacher
Coach Michael Brown is in his third year at Clements High School. His on the field duties include assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. Coach Brown will coach the defensive backs and running backs. He will be on the field on game day. Coach Brown also is the head baseball coach.
He has previously coached at West Point High School and Hebron High School both of which are located in Mississippi. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University. Michael and his wife, Jody, have two children Morgan and Sam.
